In this tutorial by EJ Hassenfratz, we’ll be looking at how to create a stylized 2D cartoon style splats using Cinema 4D’s standard tools.
We’ll start by creating an initial setup and animate the splatter and achieve the splatter effect using a combination of Metaball and Melt Object. Then, we’ll adjust a few parameters in the splat setup to get different type of splats. Finally, we’ll animate it with only a couple keyframes to achieve a realistic splat effect.
